I can pick this page apart over little nit picky things. I did screw up the scale. The cavalry are supposed skirting just out of musket range, but they are within pistol range at the scale I drew them. Alas this was page 2 of the big delay pages and I just didn't want to go back and redraw things. Some of the frames are less than finished too. My apologies. I prefer to put out better work. But after all the delays in the comic posting, I decided it would be better to get the thing out before you all abandoned the comic as dead. :)
Just found out one of my cousins in Massachusetts took some shrapnel in the bombing. He is going to be OK but any of you who pray I'd appreciate including him in the prayers for a quick recovery and other unspoken needs.
Los Alamos is supposed to start up in 2 weeks. I plan on drawing then for certain, and I have also been preparing to set up evening times to draw like I used to. (At least one frame a night before going online.) Leads to some lesser quality frames that way though when my buffer goes to hell so I hope work time is going to allow the drawing during down time again. I am so happy to be back to work but the schedule has been appalling lately. Drive to a site, work, hop into truck and drive to the next one...Later rinse repeat. Put 1000 miles on the truck the last 4 weeks in a row. Blew a truck up in the process 2 weeks ago. Thank god I was in town and this didn't happen when I was on the res. Zero cell coverage out there so that would have been interesting in the Chinese curse sort of way.
