Character Bios
I thought I had better update things since I am starting to get a lot of "Is the comic dead?" PMs and posts.

As of right now the comic is not dead. Just in a state of suspended animation.

Last year I ended up getting laid off for 2 months at the beginning of the year. This was followed up by several months of insanity once the place I was working got going again, and then I have been doing what I refer to as "Site Pinball" between multiple sites at work. What this means is that I have had very little time to work on BTS, as I usually do my drawing for it during site down time. When I have time, I am usually either too dirty to risk smearing the paper, or I am tired.

Also. The two worst words to an artist in the english language. "Art Block".

It also doesn't help that I have been on book kicks from the Bible, to rereading the Aubrey-Maturin series (Master and Commander), and Game of Thrones

I would love to say that things are looking up. But I am slated for lead tech on a big interchange project during the night shift. If this falls in place I will be doing so until at least October. Without decent light to draw in, this will effectively kill BTS drawing unless I do so at home in the afternoon before work (Which may happen.)

I have one page left in the chapter, and in my buffer. Once I get some computer issues resolved (And I am not stuck studying for 5 recertifications this month) I will try to scan/edit/post. But the time for this I will not promise.

So there it is. I assure people the comic is not dead. I write new things in the script file I have all the time. I am still reading period books and am as inspired as ever. I just can't get time and energy to work on the drawings. When things fall through, the comic will be back again.

Also. As a final note. Should the worst case scenario occur and I assume room temperature for whatever reason, I have a trusted friend to whom I send my script update file. Should the unthinkable occur, you will get complete notes and dialogue on the next 5 or 6 chapters, detailed notes on 5 or 6 after that, and general outlines to the rest of the story. I will leave his name unsaid so folks don't bug him for spoilers, but lay your mind at rest. And end to the story will occur. :)

Back to these @#%$@$ certification books... Why do I need to memorize the cycle rate on a sample shaker? Wouldn't I just open a manual and look it up if I needed it? #%$#$%*& ...
