Still on the house hunt between long hours at work. I managed to finish off a single frame this week. Not a very good rate of production. Darn I hope things get under control soon.
Todays picture is a picture of an Ayre tavern during some dancing to the reels. Most folks think the Ayres are Irish or Scottish. There is a great influence of course, particularly in their music and dress, But they aren't based on either culture.
Anyhow, this is the Harvest festival, with my old character Tarin and his wife Trixie dancing at the pub in Fire Cove. Tarin is of the Firepelt clan, just like Thaddeus, and Trixie is the Tann clan, Benjamins, and is the daughter of the Master Tarin was apprentised to. The story of these two and their people was the inspiration that got me thinking about the Ayres and their history. In esscence. These two insired the culture that inspired the comic. So I figured this would be a good picture to show you all.
