Hello! Sorry about last week. Things were...interesting RL that involved a week if 4:30 am wake ups and no time at work to do much but sweat. Unfortunately this is what the last 2 months have been like and the end result is that my buffer has gone from 12 comics to three.
The good thing is that I spent Monday afternoon plotting out the first 4 pages of chapter 3. I am getting beyond the dull (For drawing I mean) frames of hoardes of men pulling cannons, to the night before, and the opening salvo of the battle proper. I am happy to say that the ideas I have had in my head are coming out on paper quite well.
This chapter is based loosely on an article I read in Time Publishings excelent "Voices of the Civil War" series, which I strongly recomend anyone picking up at the library. The story of the troops and the gun inspired me to this little anecdote here. I hope it is as amusing as the origonal was to me.
