Sorry for all the delays. I got time away today. Not in the way I wanted though.
There is a huge fire outside of Los Alamos. The city is evacuated now today. Hopefully the fire will not devastate the surrounding forest like the Cerro Grande fire 11 years ago. This one is looking to rival that one.
I am heartbroken as the most beautiful part of the state is on fire. I drive back through it all the time. I do hope the fire does not turn the forest into standing match sticks like Cerro Grande did.
If you are the praying type. Please pray for the state, the national forest, and the 15,000 people evacuated from Los Alamos.
